Senior Max Irving of the UCLA men's water polo has been named the UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for Nov. 6-12.

Irving tied as the team's scoring leader, registering four goals in the Bruins' upset win over No. 2 USC on Senior Day. He has scored a total of 10 goals in the two wins over USC this season. He did all of his scoring in the first three quarters, scoring once from the front court in the first and second periods and netting two power play goals in the third. He earned an assist on UCLA's only goal of the fourth, a power play goal at the 3-minute mark that sent the game into overtime. Irving finished with two assists and added one steal and one field block, both of which occurred in the second overtime period.

This is Irving's third UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week of the season and of his career.
