Redshirt junior Jordan Lasley of the UCLA football team has been named the UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for Nov. 20-26.
Lasley caught a career-high 12 passes for a team-leading 227 yards and one touchdown in UCLA's 30-27 victory in the regular-season finale against California. He became the first Bruin ever with back-to-back, 200-yard receiving contests after posting 204 receiving yards at USC the week prior. Lasley's 431 receiving yards over the last two games are the most for a Bruin in back-to-back contests. His 227-yard effort was the third-best total for a single game in UCLA history.
The win pushed UCLA's home record to a perfect 6-0 at the Rose Bowl this season and helped the Bruins become bowl eligible.
This is Lasley's first UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week of the season and of his career.
Also Nominated: Monique Billings (Women's Basketball), Madeleine Gates (Women's Volleyball), Aaron Holiday (Men's Basketball), Hailie Mace (Women's Soccer).
