11 Bruins on P12 Football All-Academic team

Commissioner Larry Scott announced on Thursday the 2017 Pac-12 Conference Football All-Academic team. Eleven Bruins were recognized on this year's team, including second-team selection Josh Woods. Each student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and appear in at least half of their team's games over the course of the season to be eligible for the team.

A junior linebacker, Woods owns a 3.33 grade-point average in the Sociology major. He was joined on this year's All-Academic team by redshirt freshman offensive lineman Michael Alves, sophomore long snapper Johnny Den Bleyker, redshirt junior running back Giovanni Gentosi, sophomore receiver Theo Howard, junior defensive back Nate Meadors, redshirt freshman defensive lineman Marcus Moore, redshirt junior receiver Christian Pabico, junior quarterback Josh Rosen, redshirt freshman tight end Jordan Wilson and senior linebacker Kenny Young.

The Bruins will learn their bowl game destination on Sunday afternoon.
