UCLA at the Cactus Bowl - Day One

UCLA arrived in Phoenix, Ariz. on Friday afternoon to begin on-site preparations for its matchup with Kansas State in the Cactus Bowl on Tuesday, Dec. 26.
The Bruin travel party received a red carpet greeting by the Cactus Bowl's Yellow Jacket Committee upon arrival, and interim head coach Jedd Fisch met with members of the media at the airport.
"Our team is thrilled to be a part of this game, to be a part of a great tradition," Fisch said. "I played a part in coaching in this game in 2009 when I was at the University of Minnesota, and it's a great opportunity to play in a new stadium, in a baseball stadium. Our guys are excited for this championship opportunity.
The Bruins will participate in media day activities on Saturday.
