SAN FRANCISCO – UCLA junior Eloise Belanger has been named the Pac-12 Diver of the Month for December, the conference announced today.
Following a cross-country trip, Belanger was the only diver to notch a Top-4 finish on each day of the Georgia Fall Invitational (Dec. 1-3).
The junior won the 1-Meter competition on Day 1, leading wire to wire with scores of 310.90 in the preliminary round and 320.45 in the final. No other diver topped the 300 mark on the day. The Montreal, QC, Canada native went on to register a fourth-place finish in the 3-Meter contest (297.75 final round), including a 63.00 that matched the highest-scoring dive of the day.
