
Junior Aaron Holiday of the UCLA men's basketball team has been named the UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for Jan. 29-Feb. 4.
Holiday neared triple-double territory on Saturday (23 points, nine assists, six rebounds) to help UCLA outlast USC, 82-79, before a sellout crowd in Pauley Pavilion. Holiday nailed 7 of 10 shots from the field and made 5 of 7 three-pointers to help the Bruins improve to 16-7. Holiday had 13 points and five rebounds after halftime in the Bruins' win over the Trojans. He continues to lead all Pac-12 players in scoring (20.9 ppg) in Pac-12 games.
This is Holiday's third UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week of the season and the fifth of his career.
