SAN FRANCISCO -
Junior Lilia Vu was named Pac-12 Conference Golfer of the Month for February on Friday after posting a pair of victories during the last month to tie the school record for tournament wins.

Vu claimed the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge (Feb. 11-13) and the Bruin Wave Invitational (Feb. 26-27) for her sixth and seventh wins to tie Bronte Law for the most titles at UCLA. Vu tied for first at the NGRC with a score of 1-under 212, coming back from seven shots down after 18 holes to post a second-round, 2-under 69 and a final-round, 3-under 68.

The junior ended the month as the only player under par at the Bruin Wave, again recording a score of 1-under (215). She posted an opening-round 69 (-3) and a second-round 71 (-1), eventually winning by two shots. For the month of February, four of her six rounds were under par, including three in the 60s.

Vu, who has three victories on the season and has finished no worse than T-6 in any tournament, earned her fourth Pac-12 Golfer of the Month award after also receiving the nod in March, April and November 2017.

The top-ranked Bruins are back in action at the Wildcat Invitational (Monday, March 5 - Tuesday, March 6) at the Sewailo Golf Club in Tucson, Ariz.
