LAS VEGAS - The 18th-ranked Bruins are tied for eighth after 36 holes at the Southern Highlands Collegiate. UCLA shot a 5-over 293 on Tuesday and is at 7-over 583 after two days at the Southern Highlands Golf Club. 

Junior Cole Madey and sophomore Hidetoshi Yoshihara are each tied for 17th after 36 holes (+1, 145). Yoshihara recorded an even-par 72, making five birdies on #2, #4, #8, #13 and #18 to go with three bogeys and a double. Madey shot a 2-over 74, recording two birdies on #9 and #18 and four bogeys.

Freshman Eddy Lai equaled Yoshihara's even-par 72 and is tied for 27th at 2-over 146. He made three birdies on Tuesday on #3, #11 and #13, one bogey and one double. Senior Tyler Collier notched a 5-over 77 and is tied for 48th (+5, 149). He made a pair of birdies on the first and 15th, three bogeys and two doubles. Freshman Devon Bling fired a 3-over 75 and is tied for 68th (+9, 153), posting his lone birdie on the 16th to go with four bogeys.

The final round for the Bruins on Wednesday will begin at 9 a.m. on the first tee in the order of Bling, Collier, Lai, Madey and Yoshihara. Live scoring will be available here.
