SAN FRANCISCO - Junior Lilia Vu was named Pac-12 Conference Golfer of the Month for March on Wednesday after becoming UCLA's all-time leader in tournament wins at the Wildcat Invitational (March 5-6), earning her eighth career victory and her fourth in a row.

Vu set a new Bruin 54-hole record at the Sewailo Golf Club in Tucson, Ariz., the same course where she won the 2017 Pac-12 Championships. She posted a score of 14-under 202 to help top-ranked UCLA to its fifth tournament victory of the season. The top-ranked amateur in the world, Vu, had a pair of hole-out eagles, as well as 17 birdies in her three rounds. She shot an opening-round, 8-under 64, closing out the event with back-to-back, 3-under 69s.

Vu, who has finished no worse than T-6 in any tournament in 2017-2018, earned her fifth Pac-12 Golfer of the Month award all-time and third this season. She received the nod in February 2018 and November 2017, as well as March and April 2017.

The top-ranked Bruins close out the regular season this weekend, April 8-10, at the Silverado Showdown at Napa's Silverado Country Club.
