UCLA Athletics today introduced a comprehensive military appreciation ticket program. Beginning in 2018-19, active duty members of the military, veterans and their families can purchase tickets for all regular-season UCLA home sporting events at half price.

"We are proud to extend this special offer to our service men and women, veterans and their families," said UCLA Director of Athletics Dan Guerrero. "Southern California is home to such a large military community, and this is one small way for us to show our gratitude and appreciation for the sacrifices they have made, and continue to make, on our behalf."

This new, department-wide initiative expands upon the Bruins' existing relationship with the local veteran and active military community. UCLA Football will continue its longstanding tradition of celebrating one home game per season as the Veteran & Armed Forces Game, offering active duty military and veterans one complimentary ticket to that game, along with the opportunity to purchase additional seats at half price.

Admission and parking for UCLA Baseball home games has been, and will continue to be, free of charge for active duty members of the military and veterans. In addition, UCLA Athletics will continue to host events for veterans and active military families, such as golf clinics and youth camps, as well as movie nights and batting practice at Jackie Robinson Stadium.

For football and men's basketball games, the 50 percent discount will be offered at two different seat locations and price points. Adult general admission tickets for most Olympic sports are priced at $10; youth tickets and discounted military appreciation tickets are $5.

In partnership with GovX, these specially-priced tickets may be purchased in advance online. A limited number of military appreciation tickets are on sale now for fall sports at www.uclabruins.com/military. Tickets for other sports will be made available for purchase as home schedules are finalized.
