On Sunday, UCLA men's volleyball squared off against Mountain Pacific Sports Federation rival Stanford in a series of exhibition sets in the SAC Gym. The Bruins captured the first three sets 25-22, 25-17, 25-22 and the Cardinal came on to take the final two sets 22-25, 23-25.
UCLA men's volleyball split its team in half and opened up the exhibition season on Saturday with multiple matches in the USC Fall Invitational, including a sweep of the host Trojans (25-16, 25-14) in the final contest of the day. (full results below)
Next Saturday, Nov. 10, the Bruin men's volleyball alumni are invited to take in a practice for Coach John Speraw's team (scheduled for 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. at a site to be determined).
On Nov. 16-17, UCLA will host its own annual Fall Invitational in the SAC Gym on campus with teams from CSUN, UC Santa Barbara and USC set to attend. Match times will be 5 and 7:30 p.m. on Friday night and 9 am, 11:30 am, 2 pm and 4:30 pm on Saturday. The full schedule of play will be announced soon.
