UCLA Football Camps Registration Open
February 01, 2018 | Football
Registration for 2018 UCLA Football summer camps is now open.
UCLA will offer both high school and youth camps in June. Elite camps will take place June 2 and June 9, while the Future Bruins Youth Camps will be held June 18-21 and June 25-28. The camps will take place at Wasserman Football Center.
The UCLA High School Football Camps are designed to provide the best coaching for the development of sound and basic football fundamentals: offensively, defensively, and for special-teams skills. The camps' strength lies in the quality of the coaching staff assembled and led by UCLA Head Coach Chip Kelly. The emphasis is on teaching, and the majority of each day is spent learning the same drills and techniques taught to the UCLA Bruins themselves. Campers will also learn about the importance of attitude, discipline, hard work, pride and teamwork - all qualities that are part of the Bruin Football tradition.
The Youth Day Camp is designed to provide younger players with a solid foundation of the fundamentals of the game. The camp is run by the UCLA Football coaching staff, as well as former Bruin players and local high school coaches. The Youth Camp is a non-contact camp, providing a fun learning experience for all campers. Each camper receives a camp t-shirt, and should bring a lunch from home. Check-in takes place between 8:30-9:00 am on the first day of camp, and the camp itself runs from 9 am-3 pm each day. For parents looking for a longer day, or for those campers looking for extra instruction at the quarterback position, we are now offering After-Camp QB Lessons. After-Camp instruction will go until 4:30pm.
UCLA is also hosting junior high skills camps every Sunday from Feb. 11-Mar. 25, from 4-6pm. The Young Bruins Football Skills Camp is dedicated to prepare 6th, 7th, and 8th graders for high school football. Whether they have been playing for years or are interested in just getting started, this camp will help develop the skills and mindset to prepare players for the next level. Campers will be instructed and mentored by some of the best coaches in the game at the best football facility in the country, the brand-new Wasserman Football Center.
The players will learn the fundamentals of football, as well as the various life lessons it takes to be successful at the higher levels of football โ all while having fun! There will be guest appearances by current UCLA Football players throughout the camp to help the youngsters understand what it takes to get to where they are today. The camps take place on Sunday nights from 4-6pm.
