Senior Christine Peng-Peng Lee of the UCLA women's gymnastics team has been named the UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for April 16-22.

In the final competition of her career, sixth-year senior Lee scored two perfect 10s to lead UCLA to its seventh NCAA title in a stunning come-from-behind victory. As UCLA's last competitor on the balance beam in the final rotation, Lee needed to score 9.975 to take the victory, and she did that and more, earning her fifth perfect 10 of the season on beam. She also scored a perfect 10 on uneven bars, her second of the year, to put UCLA in position to win in the final rotation.

UCLA's team title wasn't the only championship Lee won last week. She also claimed the balance beam title the day before, scoring 9.9875 to become UCLA's fourth consecutive NCAA beam champion. Lee finished her illustrious career with 10 perfect 10s – four on bars and six on beam.

It is the first NCAA gymnastics title for the Bruins since 2010 and the 115th overall NCAA championship.

This is Lee's first UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week of the season and the second of her career.

Also Nominated: Izzy Carey and Megan Muret (Beach volleyball), Rachel Garcia (Softball), Michael Toglia (Baseball).
