The Bruins defeated No. 3 Hawai'i, 3-2, to advance to their first-ever NCAA final.

GULF SHORES, Ala. -- No. 1 UCLA defeated No. 3 Hawai'i (27-14), 3-2 on Sunday morning to advance to the National Championship match at Gulf Shores Public Beach.
The Bruins, who improved to 39-4 on the year, will now face No. 4 Florida State (33-6) at 11:00 a.m. PT/1:00 p.m. CT on Sunday on ESPN and all five courts streamed on ESPN3.
UH got on the scoreboard first with a win at Court 4 as Amy Ozee and Ari Homayun defeated freshman Mac May and senior Elise Zappia in straight sets 21-16, 21-16.
UCLA evened the match at No. 5 when freshman Megan Muret and Izzy Carey defeated UH's Paige Dreeuws and Hannah Zalopany, 21-14, 21-12.
Juniors Megan McNamara and Nicole McNamara put UCLA up 2-1 with a straight-set win on court one over Emily Maglio and Ka'iwi Schucht, 22-20, 21-18.
UH's Carly Kan and Laurel Weaver defeated the Bruins' sophomore Savvy Simo and junior Zana Muno in three sets on court three, 21-19, 16-21, 15-12.
Coming down to Court 2, UCLA's sophomore Lily Justine and junior Sarah Sponcil won a three-set thriller over Morgan Martin and Lea Monkhouse, 21-19, 23-25, 15-11.
