UCLA to Face Michigan State in Las Vegas

The UCLA men's basketball team will face Michigan State on Thursday, Nov. 22, in the second of game of a Thanksgiving night doubleheader at Orleans Arena in the Continental Tire Las Vegas Invitational.
The Bruins' game against Michigan State will begin at approximately 7 p.m. (PT) and will be nationally televised on FS1. Texas and North Carolina will face each other on Thursday, Nov. 22, at 4:30 p.m. (PT).
The winning teams of Thursday's two matchups will advance to play in the championship contest on Friday, Nov. 23. Game time is 3:30 p.m. (PT). The consolation game on Friday will begin at 1 p.m. (PT). Both games on Friday will be televised by FOX Sports.
Each team will play four games in the Continental Tire Las Vegas Invitational, with the first two at on-campus sites and the final two rounds at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas. As part of the tournament, UCLA will host games in Pauley Pavilion on Friday, Nov. 16, and Monday, Nov. 19.
UCLA has gone 5-2 all-time against Michigan State, with the most recent meeting between the two programs taking place in the 2011 NCAA Tournament. The Bruins held off a furious Michigan State rally in the second half to win, 78-76, and advance to a second-round contest in the 2011 NCAA Tournament in Tampa, Fla.
UCLA, Michigan State, Texas and North Carolina all competed in the 2018 NCAA Tournament. Last season, the Bruins compiled a 21-12 overall record and advanced to the "First Four" in Dayton, Ohio. Michigan State (30-5) won the Big Ten Conference regular-season title and advanced to the NCAA Tournament's second round. North Carolina went 26-11 and saw its season end in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Texas posted a 19-15 overall record and lost a first-round NCAA Tournament game.
