LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. - For the second time in three years, UCLA alum Jake Knapp claimed medalist honors at a Mackenzie Tour Q-School event, winning the West No. 2 event at the Wigwam Golf Club. Knapp shot a final-round 72 to win by two shots (-16, 272).

Knapp won his first Mackenzie Tour Q-School event two years ago. He has played in 24 Mackenzie Tour events, making 10 cuts and earning nearly $17,000. His best finishes were a T-4 at the 2017 Freedom 55 Financial Open and a T-9 at the 2017 GolfBC Championship.

With his Q-school victory, Knapp is fully exempt for the 2019 Mackenzie Tour season, which starts in late May.
