UCLA Teams Maintain High APR Marks

Beach volleyball, men's cross country, women's golf and men's volleyball teams earn perfect APR of 1,000.

UCLA teams continue to achieve high marks in the NCAA's Academic Progress Rates (APR), which were released today by the NCAA for all Division I sports teams for the 2014-15 through 2017-18 period. Each UCLA sport had four-year APR averages above the 930 score that the NCAA uses as a threshold for penalties.

Four Bruin teams received an APR Public Recognition Award with perfect scores of 1,000. The back-to-back NCAA champion beach volleyball team earned its third-straight public recognition award. Women's golf won for the 10th-straight year, men's volleyball for the fourth-straight year, and men's cross country for the second-straight year.

A total of 11 UCLA teams earned single-year perfect marks of 1,000 for the 2017-18 academic year – baseball, women's basketball, beach volleyball, men's cross country, women's cross country, men's golf, women's golf, women's soccer, men's volleyball, women's volleyball and men's water polo.
