UCLA (0-2) will host No. 5 Oklahoma (2-0) on Saturday, September 14 at Spieker Field at the Rose Bowl at 1:15 p.m. PT. The game will be televised by FOX. The Bruin IMG Radio Network will broadcast the contest, which will also be aired over 97.3 FM, Sirius/XM, uclabruins.com and tunein.com and the TuneIn App. UCLA Athletics is proud to join our institution in celebrating UCLA's Centennial all season long. The football team will mark the Centennial with a UCLA 100 helmet sticker for every game, and a UCLA 100 jersey patch for all home games.
The teams met last season in Norman, Okla. and the sixth-ranked Sooners bested the Bruins 49-21 in Dorian Thompson-Robinson's first career start at quarterback. OU owns a 4-1 edge in the series which began with a 1986 contest in Norman. Oklahoma, at No. 5 on the Associated Press poll, is the highest ranked opponent the Bruins have hosted in the Rose Bowl since UCLA battled No. 5 USC in the 2008 season. This is the fourth time UCLA has played an OU team ranked in the top 6 in the country (Bruins are 0-3 in previous three games). The Bruins' last win versus a top-five ranked team came in 2006 in the Rose Bowl against No. 2 USC.
UCLA will be looking for its first win over a ranked opponent since 2015 (17-9 win at No. 18 Utah) and its fi rst over a top-10 ranked opponent since a 2010 win (34-12) at No. 7 Texas. The Bruins' last non-conference win was a 2017 victory over Hawai'i in the Rose Bowl. It has dropped its last seven contests against non-conference opponents (2019- San Diego State, at Cincinnati; 2018-Fresno State, at Oklahoma, Cincinnati; 2017-Kansas State (bowl), at Memphis).
This will be UCLA's sixth meeting with the Sooners. UCLA is 17-15 all-time vs. teams in the current Big 12 Conference -- Baylor (0-1), Iowa State (1-1), Kansas (5-2), Kansas State (2-2), Oklahoma (1-4), Oklahoma State (1-1), Texas (4-3), TCU (3-1), Texas Tech (0-0), West Virginia (0-0).

• Dorian Thompson-Robinson completed .686 of his passes vs. SDSU (24-35 att) for 199 yards ... It was the sixth time in his career he has exceeded the .600 threshold in a game. His 13-for-15 effort (.866) at Cal last season was the third-best mark by a Bruin since 1980 (with at least 15 attempts).
• PK JJ Molson is 4 points shy of moving into the all-time school top 10 for points scored (currently with 244, Gaston Green, 1984-87 running back is 10th with 248).
• Senior LB Krys Barnes is 17th in NCAA with 10.5 tackles per game mark --- he has double-digit tackles in 4 of last 5 games.
