It is the first weekly honor for the senior guard by the Pac-12 Conference.

SAN FRANCISCO -- Senior Japreece Dean (Austin, Texas/Vista Ridge HS) was named the Pac-12 Player of the Week as announced by the conference on Monday.

The 5-foot-7-inch guard averaged 16.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 5.7 assists in No. 11 UCLA's victories over Yale (Nov. 26), UCF (Nov. 30), and Virginia (73-62) last week.
  She recorded her first-career triple-double (20 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists) in the Bruins' win over Yale, becoming just the sixth UCLA player to notch a triple-double and the first since Jordin Canada in 2017. It was the eighth triple-double in UCLA history.

Dean logged 39 minutes in the team's victory over UCF, tallying 19 points on 7-for-12 (.583) shooting with four three-pointers on the night.

The Bruins then capped the perfect week to remain undefeated at 7-0 on the year when she had 11 points, three rebounds, and three assists in the win at Virginia.

It is the first weekly award for Dean by the Pac-12.

UCLA returns to action on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 4:00 p.m. PT when they travel down the 405 freeway to take on CSUN (2-6) in the Matadome.
