
Four Bruins Earn ACWPC All-America Honors

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- The Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) announced the selection of the organization's 2019 Men's Division I All-America Team today. The Bruins had four players selected to various teams, highlighted by first team picks senior goalkeeper Alex Wolf and junior utility Felix Brozyna-Vilim.
Wolf, a three-time All-American, earned his second-consecutive selection to the first team. He finished the season with 179 saves in 17 starts with a goals against average of 9.00. He was also named second team All-MPSF in 2019.
For Brozyna-Vilim, it was his first season to earn All-American acclaim. He scored a career-high 33 goals in the 2019 season to finish third on the team in scoring. He was also named first team All-MPSF this season.
Sophomore attacker Jake Cavano and freshman attacker Tommy Gruwell earned third team All-America honors.
Cavano, a second team All-MPSF selection in 2019, led the Bruins in scoring with a career-high 42 goals on the year. He was also named a third team All-American as a freshman in 2018.
Gruwell, who garnered honorable mention All-MPSF plaudits in his first collegiate season, was fifth on the team in scoring with 26 goals.
