Ross Wins Sixth-Straight Pac-12 Gymnast of Week Award

UCLA's Kyla Ross continues to dominate the Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week award, winning her unprecedented sixth-straight award and her seventh this season.
Ross scored her first perfect 10 of the season on balance beam and her nation-leading eighth overall perfect 10 this year during UCLA's 198.325-196.275 victory over Stanford. She has earned a 10 in six consecutive meets, one away from the school record held by Jamie Dantzscher in 2002. Ross also won vault with a 9.95 and tied for second on uneven bars with a 9.9. She helped UCLA achieve season-highs for overall team score (national season-high-tying 198.325), vault score (49.450) and balance beam score (49.700). The 2012 Olympic gold medalist has 13 career perfect 10s, ranking third all-time at UCLA.
Also earning Pac-12 honors are Specialist of the Week Kaitlyn Yanish of Oregon State and Freshman of the Week Milan Clausi of California.
No. 2 UCLA will close out the regular season at home on Saturday, Mar. 16 against Utah State in the final home meet for seniors Katelyn Ohashi, Brielle Nguyen and Macy Toronjo, as well as retiring Hall of Fame head coach Valorie Kondos Field. The meet will begin at 4:30pm and will be televised live on Pac-12 Networks.
