No. 25 UCLA to Host Colorado on Senior Day

LOS ANGELES – The No. 25 UCLA women's hoops team will look to cap the 2018-19 regular season with a 'W' on Sunday afternoon, as the Bruins host Colorado for Senior Day at 12:06 p.m. (PT) on the Pac-12 Network (Los Angeles).

Prior to tip-off, UCLA will honor its four seniors – Chrissy Baird, Lajahna Drummer, Japreece Dean and Kennedy Burke.

Series History
Sunday marks the 17th meeting all-time between UCLA and Colorado, with the Bruins holding an 11-5 advantage in the series. UCLA has won the last seven meetings, including a 64-60 triumph at Colorado on Feb. 8. In that game, Michaela Onyenwere led the way with 22 points and 11 rebounds. She was big down the stretch, hitting a critical jumper with 1:17 remaining that put UCLA up five. Japreece Dean also played big for UCLA, scoring 17 points and dishing out four assists.

UCLA's Last Time Out
Both Michaela Onyenwere (29 points, 13 rebounds) and Japreece Dean (11 points, 10 assists) collected double-doubles in a 76-60 victory over Utah on Friday night.

After leading by just three at halftime, the Bruins blew the game open in the third, outscoring the Utes 26-18 to go up double digits.

It's Good to Be Back
For the first time this season, UCLA earned a spot in the Associated Press (AP) Top 25 poll on Feb. 25.

The Bruins earned some respect after handing then-ranked No. 2 Oregon its first home loss of the season, coming from 22 down to defeat the Ducks, 74-69.

UCLA currently sits 25th and is one of five Pac-12 teams ranked in the top 25.

Beat of Her Own Drum
This season, Lajahna Drummer became the 10th player in program history with 800 career rebounds. With an 11-rebound performance at then-ranked No. 12 Oregon State, Drummer moved to No. 8 all-time for career rebounds with 828, passing legend Ann Meyers (819; 1975-78).

500 Points for Michaela
Michaela Onyenwere is having a breakout year and has scored 20 or more 14 times this season, including eight 25-plus point games. On March 1 against Utah, she reached 500 points on the year, making her the seventh sophomore in program history to achieve the feat. In addition to 11 double-doubles, Onyenwere has scored in double figures in 17 straight games. She has matched a career-high 29 points three times. In Pac-12 play, Onyenwere is averaging 20.5 points and 8.6 rebounds per game. Onyenwere has made 18 3-pointers this season, all of which have come in Pac-12 play (only had one last year).

Comeback Kids
UCLA's 22-point comeback against No. 2 Oregon was the largest under Cori Close and the biggest win for UCLA since the Bruins knocked off then-ranked No. 2 Stanford, 69-56, on Jan. 4, 2008. UCLA collected its eighth win over a top-10 AP team under Cori Close (8-32).

Road Warriors
UCLA earned four road wins over ranked opponents this season, the most in a single season since 1980-81, when the Bruins were awarded five wins (fifth thanks to a forfeit by South Carolina on Jan. 5, 1981). UCLA finished its road slate at 8-3 overall and 7-2 in Pac-12 play.
