UCLA Announces 2019 Football Gameday Enhancements

LOS ANGELES – UCLA Athletics today announced a number of enhancements to the gameday fan experience at the Rose Bowl this fall for the 2019 UCLA Football season.
"Fan attendance and support at the Rose Bowl is paramount to creating a true home field advantage for our Bruins," said UCLA Athletic Director Dan Guerrero. "It's no surprise to any of us that Sports Illustrated just named the Rose Bowl the greatest stadium in college football. We are so fortunate to call it home, but UCLA Football is about more than just the venue; it's about the camaraderie and shared experience. Our priority is to continue to provide the opportunity to create memories for all students, alumni and fans – young and old."
The Rose Bowl and UCLA Athletics are committed to providing the best possible experience for all fans attending UCLA Football games. As a result, more than $1 million has been invested into stadium infrastructure improvements during the offseason to ensure a safe and smooth visit to the Rose Bowl for UCLA Football.
"There is nothing like college football gameday at the Rose Bowl," said Head Coach Chip Kelly. "Our young men look forward to performing in front of our fans and we appreciate those who choose to come out to support the team."
This season, Rose Bowl concessionaire, Levy Restaurants, introduces more than 10 new concession items to the menu throughout the stadium. Additions include Acai Bowls, Continental Empanadas, "The Arroyo" Turkey Sandwich, and a Beyond Bratwurst – a great vegan option for fans. Additionally, Levy Restaurants will be operating the brand-new "Country Store" in the Arroyo Tailgate area on the golf course. This will be a go-to stop for all fans' tailgating needs. No need to worry about leaving something at home.
Ticket Options
UCLA Athletics continuously works to provide the most flexible, affordable, and convenient ticket options for our fans. We have made a few changes to seating at the Rose Bowl. A full seating map for the 2019 UCLA Football season is available here.
Some of the highlights include the introduction of THE BLUE ZONE, a new all-mobile ticket option for fans to secure some of the Rose Bowl's best seats. Priced at just $149, this season pass features access to east sideline seats for all six home games. The first nine rows of the Blue Zone also will feature complimentary Bruin seat cushions.
UCLA's most recent graduates can keep their memories from Then Den alive in the Young Alumni Section, which is new in 2019. UCLA undergraduate students who graduated between 2015 and 2019 or graduate students who completed their degree between 2017 and 2019 are eligible to sit in this area, while still paying the same amount they did as a student – only $169 for all six games!
Seating priority given to Bruin fans is even stronger in 2019, with opponent seating having been relocated to Sections 26-H and 27-L.
UCLA is proud to offer military appreciation pricing once again in 2019. As part of our comprehensive military appreciation ticket program, active duty members of the military, veterans and their families can purchase tickets for all regular-season UCLA home sporting events at half price. For football, the 50 percent discount will be offered at two different seat locations and price points. In partnership with GovX, these specially-priced tickets may be purchased in advance online. Hospitality Areas
UCLA and the Rose Bowl will be expanding service for beer and wine at hospitality locations throughout the stadium.
The newly redesigned WAF Lounge, located on the east side of the concourse near Tunnel 7, is now open to all east side (Section 1-8) UCLA Football Season Ticket Holders and all Wooden Athletic Fund Members. The WAF Lounge offers premium concessions, drinks and shade before, during and after every UCLA game. Become a Season Ticket Holder or join the Wooden Athletic Fund today.
The TCL Club, formerly known as the Blue Moon Club, is located on Level C of the Terry Donahue Pavilion. This area now features 43 brand-new TCL flat screen TVs, new furniture and a variety of new games and entertainment options. A season pass for the TCL Club is available to all fans for purchase here.
Returning in 2019, the Rose Bowl's beer and wine garden, Fairway Eats, is located on the north concourse near Gate N. This area is open to all ticket holders in attendance.
Promotions
UCLA Athletics is proud to join our institution in celebrating UCLA's Centennial all season long. The football team will mark the Centennial with a UCLA 100 helmet sticker for every game, and a UCLA 100 jersey patch for all home games. In addition, UCLA's 2019 home opener against San Diego State on Saturday, September 7 has been designated as the Centennial Celebration game, featuring a number of in-game elements looking back on our first 100 years.
Several high-quality fan giveaways will be offered in 2019, including Centennial-themed Season Ticket Holder Pins, which will be available for pickup during the San Diego State game, and a Centennial Celebration Poster that features fan-submitted images from throughout UCLA's historic 100 years. Fans also will be able to collect the next two installments of our Retired Number Collector's Coin Series; Troy Aikman's #8 will be available on Saturday, September 14 when the Bruins play Oklahoma, and Jackie Robinson's #42 will be available during our Homecoming and Bruin Family Weekend game on Saturday, October 26 against Arizona State. All giveaway items will be available at every gate on a first-come, first-served basis to fans wearing Powderkeg Blue. UCLA students also will see a return of our pompoms in the Student Section for each home game, among a variety of other giveaways.
The Colorado game on Saturday, November 2 will be UCLA's 23rd Annual Veteran & Armed Forces Appreciation Game, and will feature a number of activities to celebrate and honor the brave men and women of our Armed Forces. This game will also feature the celebration of the UCLA Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2019.
