UCLA Athletics Announces Tuition Giveaway

UCLA Athletics and the Den today announced the opportunity for one lucky UCLA student to win a free year of tuition (in-state equivalent, valued at $13,000), just for attending Bruin sporting events.
"UCLA students are critical members of the Bruin fan base. Our student-athletes feed off the energy the Den brings to every game, and the student section sets the tone for other Bruin fans," said Director of Athletics Dan Guerrero. "We are constantly looking for ways to reward and encourage student attendance at our athletic events, and this year, we are excited to offer the opportunity to win a year of free tuition at the nation's #1 public university."
Students must have a 2019-20 Den Pass to be eligible to win. Den Pass Holders will receive one entry for each of the following tasks that they complete, up to eight:
- Attend 3 home football games
- Attend 6 home football games
- Attend the UCLA vs. Oklahoma football game (September 14)
- Attend 6 home men's basketball games
- Attend 12 home men's basketball games
- Attend 18 home men's basketball games
- Attend the men's basketball home opener (November 6)
- Attend three rivalry games (FB vs. Cal; MBB vs. Arizona; MBB vs. USC)
Entries will be tracked via scan data from student BruinCards. Only attendance with the use of the Den Pass will count toward completed tasks. Official Terms and Conditions can be found here. The winning student will be selected via random drawing and will be announced during the final men's basketball home game of the 2019-20 season.
The Den Pass gives UCLA students access to all home football and men's basketball games, a free Under Armour Den T-shirt, and postseason priority, in addition to other benefits. Den Passes are available for student purchase for $169 at uclabruins.com/theden.
UCLA students will be welcomed back to campus with the 5th annual Champed Up student athletics welcome party on September 24 in Pauley Pavilion presented by Wescom. This year's event will feature special guests, performances, appearances by the UCLA Band and Spirit Squad, games and giveaways.
