
Freshman guard Jake Kyman of the UCLA men's basketball team has been selected the UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for Feb. 24-Mar. 1.
Jake Kyman averaged 14.5 points and 5.0 rebounds in the Bruins' two home victories last week. He scored a team-leading 21 points in the Bruins' 75-72 win over Arizona State on Thursday. Kyman also had eight points and four rebounds off the bench in the team's 69-64 victory against Arizona on Saturday night. Kyman shot 61.1 percent (11-for-18) from the field and 58.3 percent (7-for-12) from 3-point territory in both games. UCLA has won 11 of its last 13 games and has compiled a seven-game winning streak.
This is Kyman's first UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week award of the season and of his career.
