SAN FRANCISCO - Four Bruins were named to the Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the conference on Monday, as sophomores Ahmed Ali, Rory Feng, Sean Maruyama and Bryan Wiyang Teoh were recognized.

In a change from previous years to the all-academic selection process, recommended by the Pac-12 Faculty Athletics Representatives and approved by the Pac-12 Council, any student-athlete on their respective team rosters with a cumulative grade point average of 3.3 or above, and who has served at least one year in residence at the institution, is eligible to receive all-academic honors. There is no longer a selection process to determine all-academic teams. Any student-athlete who qualifies will be named to the Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll during the season in which they compete.

All four Bruins earned their first Pac-12 academic accolades in their first seasons eligible. Feng was also honored on Sunday at the UCLA Scholar-Athlete Banquet as a member of the UCLA All-Academic Team for holding the highest team cumulative grade point average.

A total of 58 Bruins across 10 sports were named to the Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll.
