
Hill Selected UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of Week

Freshman Abbi Hill of the UCLA women's water polo team has been selected the UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for Feb. 3-9.
Hill led the Bruins in scoring and field blocks as UCLA went captured the Triton Invitational title after a 7-5 championship win over No. 1 USC. Hill led the Bruins with two scores in the championship game and also added one steal and three field blocks. In the 11-8 semifinal win over No. 8 Arizona State, she recorded one goal, one assist and one steal, and in the 12-9 quarterfinal win over No. 19 Indiana, she scored a game-high four goals while tallying two field blocks and drawing one exclusion. For the week, she scored seven goals on 16 shots for a shooting percentage of 43.8% over the four games. She also tallied five field blocks, two assists, two steals and drew one exclusion as UCLA improved to 14-1 overall on the season.
This is Hill's first UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week award of the season and of her career.
