The Bruins' 62 points were the most scored by UCLA in the all-time series against USC, a crosstown series that began in 1929. In fact, UCLA (7-4) crossed the 50-point plateau for the first time against the Trojans (4-6).
Thompson-Robinson completed 16 of 22 passes for 349 yards, threw four touchdowns, and added 46 rushing yards (including a pair of rushing touchdowns) against USC. As a team, the Bruins finished with 609 total offensive yards.
Kazmeir Allen scored three touchdowns – two TD receptions from Thompson-Robinson and an 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown late in the third quarter.
Allen became UCLA's first player to return a kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown since Demetric Felton accomplished the feat at Washington State on Sept. 21, 2019, in the Bruins' 67-63 win.

UCLA's 29-point win on Saturday marked the Bruins' largest margin of victory against USC since a 34-0 win against the Trojans in 1954.
Zach Charbonnet totaled 167 rushing yards on 28 carries, including one touchdown run early in the fourth quarter.
Leading USC by a 28-17 margin at halftime, the Bruins pushed their second-half cushion to as many as 22 points – 48-26 – with under 11 minutes to play in the fourth quarter. UCLA never trailed USC in the second half.
The Bruins overcame an early 10-7 deficit, late in the first quarter, took a 14-10 lead, and never looked back. UCLA led 28-10 midway through the second quarter and carried a 28-17 advantage into the locker room at halftime.
UCLA increased its cushion to 35-17 at the 11:36 mark in the third quarter with an eight-play, 78-yard drive, culminating in an 11-yard touchdown strike from Thompson-Robinson to Kyle Philips.
After USC trimmed UCLA's margin to 35-26 at the third quarter's 2:09 mark, the Bruins answered with Allen's 100-yard kickoff return.
The game's first half featured multiple lead changes. USC scored first, connecting on a 29-yard field goal by Alex Stadthaus with 10:56 to play in the opening quarter. UCLA answered with a 45-yard touchdown pass from Thompson-Robinson to Allen with 4:32 to left in the first quarter.
Trailing 7-3, USC responded in the final minute of the first quarter. The Trojans capped a 10-play, 63-yard drive with a seven-yard touchdown carry by Vavae Malepeai.
UCLA secured a 14-10 lead, midway through the second quarter, as Thompson-Robinson connected on a 23-yard touchdown strike through the air to Kyle Philips.
The Bruins added two more touchdowns in the second quarter, staking a 28-10 lead, before entering the locker room at halftime with a 28-17 advantage. Thompson-Robinson's 58-yard touchdown pass to Allen at the 6:31 mark in the second quarter put the Bruins ahead, 21-10. Minutes later, Thompson-Robinson rushed for a four-yard touchdown to give UCLA an 18-point cushion.
UCLA will close its regular-season schedule against California at the Rose Bowl on Saturday, Nov. 27. Game time of the Bruins' regular-season finale is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. (PT).
