Already armed with her second consecutive Pac-12 All-Conference nod, UCLA junior guard Charisma Osborne added all-conference honors from the media to her stash of awards.
Osborne ranks second in the Pac-12 in scoring with a 17.1 points per game average. She also ranks second in free throw percentage (86.3%), fourth in three-pointers made (53) and sixth in assists (3.5 apg). A day earlier, she was named by the Pac-12 coaches to the all-conference team for the second consecutive season and also earned honorable mention All-Defensive Team acclaim. A two-time Pac-12 Player of the Week, Osborne has scored in double figures in 20 of the 21 games she has played this season and has seven 20-point games and two double-doubles to her credit. She scored a season-high 27 points at USC on Jan. 23 and also had a 26-point game against UConn on Dec. 11. Osborne joined UCLA's 1,000 point club earlier this season and hit 400 career rebounds and 200 career assists at Arizona on Feb. 24. The Moreno Valley native is on the Late Season Top 20 Watch List for the John R. Wooden Award, the Midseason Watch List for the Naismith Trophy, and the Top 10 Watch List for the Ann Meyers-Drysdale Award.
