Senior Zach Charbonnet rushed for 151 yards on 20 attempts in the game, punching in a touchdown in the fourth quarter. The running back added 28 receiving yards on four receptions in as many targets.

Redshirt senior Dorian Thompson-Robinson finished the game with 262 yards and two touchdowns on 27-39 passing. The UCLA play-caller found redshirt senior Jake Bobo on eight occasions in 10 tries for 101 yards and a touchdown.

Oregon's second quarter made the difference for the Ducks as they put up a four-touchdown performance in the period. Oregon quarterback Bo Nix threw three touchdowns as the Ducks outscored UCLA 28-10 in the quarter.

The Bruins defensive unit stuffed Oregon's attack on the Duck's first drive, allowing just 49 yards in 10 plays. UCLA conceded a 44-yard field goal, trailing 3-0 with four minutes and change taken off the clock. The Bruins marched down field and answered in 6:27 with a 47-yard FG by Nicholas Barr-Mira.

Offenses started to ramp up for both teams in the second quarter. Oregon quarterback Bo Nix and the Ducks found the end zone first, throwing a 17-yard touchdown on the first play of the quarter, but the lead would not hold for long. UCLA drove 75 yards in seven plays to score a touchdown in just 2:18 of play. Keegan Jones turned on the jets to cap the drive the drive, breaking away for a 36-yard touchdown reception. Barr-Mira split the uprights to tie it 10-10.

Oregon pulled out its first trick of the game up 17-10 to steal a possession away from the Bruins. The Ducks attempted and recovered an onside kick that would lead to another Oregon touchdown. Down 24-10, and rain coming down in Eugene, the Bruins went back to work. ย UCLA trailed 24-13 after a 44-yard Barr-Mira field goal with 3:10 left in the half. The Ducks drove once again to score before the halftime whistle, carrying an 18-point lead into the break.

The first drive of the third quarter ended in a familiar fashion for UCLA; Barr-Mira kicked a 33-yarder to cut into Oregon's lead. Nix and the Ducks did not relent, eating the clock on a drive that lasted 7:30 before Oregon found the endzone. Oregon led 38-16 heading into the final period of play.

Charbonnet and redshirt senior Jake Bobo combined for key plays during the Bruins' scoring drive to open the fourth quarter. Bobo caught a pass on fourth and eight to earn a new set of downs for the Bruins, and Charbonnet broke away for a 27-yard rush into the red zone. Charbonnet capped the drive with a one-yard rushing touchdown to cut the Oregon lead to 15.

Oregon answered quickly, taking only six plays before scoring again in Autzen Stadium. The Ducks increased their lead to 22 for the second time in the game.

Bobo caught a dart from Thompson-Robinson with 4:11 to play and ran in for his sixth touchdown of the year. The Bruins, trailing 45-30, attempted their own onside kick but the pigskin bounced out of bounds before traveling 10 yards. Oregon held onto the ball until the final whistle blew.

UCLA returns to the Rose Bowl on Saturday, Oct. 29 to play its homecoming game against Stanford. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on ESPN.
