Charbonnet Selected UCLA Student-Athlete of Week, presented by Ready
November 01, 2022 | Football
Charbonnet equaled or eclipsed a number of career highs in UCLA's 38-13 win against Stanford at Rose Bowl Stadium, helping the Bruins improve to 7-1 on the season. His 198 yards on the ground matched the personal-best total he put up versus Utah Oct. 8, while the three rushing touchdowns he posted marked the fifth such occurrence for the Camarillo, Calif. native. Charbonnet has now run for more than 100 yards in five straight games, the most by a Bruin since Tyler Ebell in 2002. The senior also logged career highs in receptions (tied, with five) and receiving yards (61). Charbonnet became the 18th UCLA rusher to surpass 2,000 yards, a feat he accomplished in just 19 games.
This is Charbonnet's second UCLA student-athlete of the week award of the season and third of his career.
