November 22, 2022 | Men's Soccer

Redshirt sophomore midfielder Tucker Lepley of the UCLA men's soccer team has been selected the UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by Ready, for Nov. 14-21.

Lepley scored the game-winning goal in the 79th minute as UCLA notched a 2-1 comeback win on the road over No. 6 seed Clemson on Nov. 20. The victory was UCLA's first-ever win over a reigning national champ in the NCAA Tournament, having gone winless in six previous match-ups. UCLA is into the Round of 16 for the first time since 2014. Lepley, who has scored three goals and seven points in seven games since making his season debut, started and tallied one shot in the Bruins' 2-1 first round win over Cal Baptist on Sept. 17.

This is Lepley's first UCLA student-athlete of the week award of the season and of his career.

Also nominated: Lauren Brzykcy, W. Soccer; Jaylen Clark, M. Basketball; Gianpiero Di Martire, M. Water Polo; élan McCall, W. Volleyball; Charisma Osborne, W. Basketball; Dorian Thompson-Robinson, Football.
