THE MATCHUP
UCLA returns to Pasadena, Calif. to play a home game as an Associated Press top-10 team for the first time since October 2015. The Bruins, ranked No. 9 by the AP and No. 10 by the coaches, will take on Arizona in a Pac-12 battle to be televised by FOX at 7:30 p.m. PT. UCLA was rated No. 12 in the first College Football Playoff selection committee listing Nov. 1. The Bruin IMG Radio Network will broadcast the contest, which will also be aired over SiriusXM and the Varsity App.
UCLA has won eight home games in a row, its longest streak since winning10 straight home contests over the 2005 and 2006 seasons. It has also captured wins against its last five Pac-12 opponents in games played in the Rose Bowl. UCLA's overall winning percentage for the past two seasons of .762 (16-5), entering this week's action, is behind only Oregon (.783, 18-5) among Pac-12 schools during that stretch.
In its last game, UCLA won 50-36 at Arizona State 50-36 for its seventh win in nine Pac-12 road games. The Bruins ran for 402 yards, the most since 2010. In its last home contest, UCLA downed Stanford in a 38-13 decision. Zach Charbonnet accounted for 259 all-purpose yards, including a career-high tying 198 yards on the ground against the Cardinal. The previous week, UCLA saw its nine-game win streak stopped at Oregon in a 45-30 verdict. Charbonnet ran for 151 yards, Jake Bobo caught eight passes for 101 yards and Dorian Thompson-Robinson generated 300 yards of offense. UCLA had registered a ninth straight win by dealing then-No. 11 Utah a 42-32 setback on Oct. 8 and moved to 3-0 in the league for the first time since 2007. Charbonnet ran for 198 yards against the Utes.

โข UCLA returned to the College Football Playoff rankings for the first time since Week 12 of the 2015 season with last Tuesday's announcement. It was the 11th overall appearance by the Bruins in the rankings. The highest UCLA has ever been placed in the CFP rankings is No. 8 (Nov. 25, 2014).
โข UCLA has won its last five games played in the month of November, going 1-0 in 2022 and 3-0 in 2021 and coming out on top in its final November game of the shortenend 2020 season.
โข UCLA has scored at least 30 points in each game this season and 12 straight dating back to the 2021 campaign, which is the longest such stretch in school annals.
โข The Bruins are one of seven teams in the country averaging at least 500 yards of total offense per game in 2022. UCLA compiled 571 yards of total offense last week at Arizona State. It was the fifth time this season UCLA has exceeded the 500-yard mark in a game (523 versus Stanford, 502 versus Utah, 515 at Colorado and 626 versus Bowling Green).
โข Zach Charbonnet has rushed for at least one touchdown in each of his last nine Pac-12 games ... he has run for at least 100 yards in each of his last seven Pac-12 games for a total of 1,048 yards on 144 carries (7.3 yards per run) and 11 touchdowns ... he leads the Pac-12 in rushing yards per game (137.7) ... he is the only Pac-12 performer averaging more than 100 yards a game on the ground this season ... Charbonnet also leads the league in all-purpose yards per game (170.86, a mark which rates second nationally).
โข Dorian Thompson-Robinson (11,391) is 322 yards shy of equaling all-time school leader Brett Hundley's (2011-14) mark of 11,713 yards of total offense. Thompson-Robinson, who is rated third in the nation with a completion percentage of .717, ranks ninth nationally in passing efficiency at 165.1 (Cade McNown owns UCLA's season record with a 168.6 mark in 1997).
LAST MEETINGS
In last year's meeting in Tucson, Ariz., Zach Charbonnet (117) and Brittain Brown (146) each produced 100-yard rushing games in a 34-16 Bruin victory. UCLA finished with a total of 329 yards on the ground in the game. Dorian Thompson-Robinson added 82 passing yards and rushed for a couple of scores. UCLA led 14-13 at intermission, but outscored the Wildcats 20-3 after the break to secure the win.
In the most recent meeting between the two programs played in Pasadena, Calif., Demetric Felton Jr. generated a career-best 206 rushing yards on 32 carries as the Bruins defeated Arizona 27-10 in 2020. UCLA rushed for 281 yards on the night and quarterback Chase Griffin completed 12 of 20 passes for 129 yards.

โข UCLA scored three touchdowns of 50 yards or more against BGSU: Dorian Thompson-Robinson's 68-yard run, a 52-yard catch and run by Keegan Jones from Thompson-Robinson and a 50-yard strike from Ethan Garbers to Josiah Norwood.The Bruins added a 70-yard pass play from Thompson-Robinson to Logan Loya against Utah. Kazmeir Allen raced 72 yards for a touchdown against Stanford and 75 yards at Arizona State. It had three such plays all of 2021.
