New York, N.Y. โ UCLA Track & Field finished up its trip to New York City and the Dr. Sander Columbia Challenge on Saturday, compiling strong performances across various event groups.

Sydney Johnson completed her first collegiate pentathlon for the Bruins, totaling 3,712 points for the seventh-best performance in UCLA history. The freshman finished third overall and picked up a second-place finish in the hep long jump competition (5.84m, 19-02.00). Alex Enos (4,128 pts) and Aiden Lieb (4,105 pts) finished sixth and seventh overall, respectively in the heptathlon.

Mia Kane led a group of six Bruin women in the mile competition, finishing ninth overall with a time of 4:51.63 in her first individual collegiate event. Emma Tavella (4:55.88) and Ashley Johnson (4:56.08) also ducked under the five-minute barrier and finished 17th and 19th overall, respectively. Jake Parker was UCLA's top finisher in the men's competition, finishing third overall in the collegiate competition at 4:05.22. Alyssa Bautista paced the Bruin women in the 3000m competition, clocking a lifetime-best time of 9:51.64 for 14th place overall.

Lyvante Su'emai notched a fifth-place finish in the women's weight throw competition, tossing the implement 14.76m (48-05.25). Natalie Ramirez was 12th on the day with a mark of 13.51m (44-04.00).

Myles Misener-Daley notched a third-place finish in the men's 200m, clocking a time of 21.72. Trinity Rossum was UCLA's top finisher on the women's side, crossing the line at 24.87 for 12th place overall.

The Bruins' women's and men's 4x400m relay squads went 5-6, respectively. Kate Jendrezak, Maddy Doane, Rose Pittman, and Dakota Stanly combined for a time of 3:45.64 while Misener-Daley, Cameron Reynolds, Josh Bailey, and Liam Anderson went 3:17.04 on the men's side.

Sean Lee was the Bruins' top finisher in the men's high jump, clearing 2.10m (6-10.75) for third place on the day. Freshman Aaron Kim cleared 1.95m (6-04.75) on his first attempt for ninth place. Hawa Kamara (11.73m, 38-06.00) and Sophia Hartwell (36-08.50) finished 14th and 25th, respectively, in the women's triple jump competition.

Mia Cervantes led the way for the Bruin women in the pole vault competition, going 3.90m (12-09.50) for seventh place overall. Camryn Thomson (T14th), Katerina Adamiec (T14th), and Isabella Grant all cleared 3.75m (12-03.50).
