Keegan Jones Named to Hornung Award Honor Roll

UCLA's Keegan Jones has been named to the Paul Hornung Awardย Honor Roll thisย week for his performance in the win against Washington State.

Jones registered two fourth quarter touchdown runs against the Cougars, covering 13 and 22 yards, to help secure Saturday's win for the Bruins. He finished with 45 rushing yards on three carries, one reception for six yards and a kickoff return for 27 yards.

The Paul Hornung Award, presented by Texas Roadhouse, is given annually to the most versatile player in major college football. Jones has seen action at wide receiver, running back and as a return specialist for the Bruins.

The award was created in January 2010 by the Louisville Sports Commission, with the support of Paul Hornung, a member of the College Football Hall of Fame and the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The mission of the award is to recognize and reward versatile, high-level performers in major college football; to help preserve the legacy of Hornung, one of Louisville's native sons and sports icons; and to promote the great sports town of Louisville.
