Bruins Fall to Alba Berlin

BERLIN, Germany – UCLA Women's Basketball falls to 1-1 after a physical game played against Alba Berlin on Saturday. The Bruins out-rebounded the Berlin women's team 36-29 and blocked five shots in the defeat.
Three Bruins were in double figures; Charisma Osborne tied Laina Snyder for a game-high 16 points, and the fifth-year guard swiped four steals in 26 minutes of play. Gabriela Jaquez shot 4-for-8 from the field and put up 14 points; she grabbed six rebounds and dished three assists. Emily Bessoir was the final Bruin in double digits. The German forward scored 10 points and had six rebounds.
Kiki Rice exited the game with an injury but has been treated and is okay. Rice will remain out for the for the final exhibition game of the summer tour.
