August 29, 2023 | Women's Basketball

MUNICH, Germany – The Bruins earned a commanding 126-23 victory over TS Jahn München on Tuesday. The Munich-based basketball club had a number of players unable to play due to illness in the days leading up to the final exhibition game of UCLA's summer tour.

Redshirt junior Emily Bessoir played for TS Jahn München prior to attending UCLA, making Tuesday's matchup a homecoming for the German forward.

Seven Bruins were in double-digit scoring, led by rising sophomore Gabriela Jaquez. The Camarillo native had 28 points in the win. Christeen Iwuala (24 PTS), Bessoir (17 PTS), Amanda Muse (16 PTS), Angela Dugalic (15 PTS), Charisma Osborne and Londynn Jones (12 PTS) rounded out UCLA student-athletes in double figures.

The Bruins improve to 2-1 to conclude their foreign tour campaign in Senegal and Germany.
