
Bruins in the NFL: Week 3

A total of 18 former Bruin standouts saw the field during Week 3 of the NFL season.
Several had standout efforts over the weekend, most notably in Seattle where a trio of Bruin alums – Jake Bobo, Zach Charbonnet, and Raiqwon O'Neal – helped the Seahawks to a 37-27 win over the visiting Carolina Panthers. Bobo hauled in his first NFL touchdown reception in the fourth quarter of that game, and was able to celebrate with Charbonnet and O'Neal, who were both on the field for the scoring play.
• Krys Barnes, LB, Arizona Cardinals – Starter Barnes posted seven combined tackles for the second consecutive week, helping the Cardinals to a 26-18 win over Dallas. He also had a co-team-high two passes defended. His six solo tackles matched his output from last week, which were his most in a single game since Nov. 28, 2021.
Week 4: Sunday at San Francisco – 1:25 p.m. PT (FOX)
• Bobo, WR, Seattle Seahawks – Recorded his first-career touchdown reception, a five-yard grab in the fourth quarter that capped Seattle's scoring in a 10-point win over Carolina. Bobo was targeted twice in the contest.
Week 4: Monday at New York Giants – 5:15 p.m. PT (ABC)
• Charbonnet, RB, Seattle Seahawks – Totaled 46 yards rushing on nine carries, averaging 5.1 yards per attempt. He had three rushes that went for 10+ yards, including a personal game-long 12-yard gain in the fourth quarter that saw him lay a big hit on a defender while coming up just short of a touchdown.
Week 4: Monday at New York Giants – 5:15 p.m. PT (ABC)
• Kenny Clark, DL, Green Bay Packers – Recorded four tackles and one sack to help Green Bay eke out an 18-17 win over New Orleans. Clark came up with a nine-yard sack on the very first drive of the game, forcing the Saints into a three-and-out.
Week 4: Thursday vs. Detroit – 5:15 p.m. PT (Prime Video)
• Ka'imi Fairbairn, K, Houston Texans – Accounted for 13 points in Houston's 37-17 win over Jacksonville, connecting on all three of his field goal attempts while going 4-for-4 on PATs. His field goals came from 28, 26, and 33 yards out.
Week 4: Sunday vs. Pittsburgh – 10 a.m. PT (CBS)
• Darnay Holmes, CB, New York Giants – Made one tackle and broke up a pass in the Giants' road contest at San Francisco.
Week 4: Monday vs. Seattle – 5:15 p.m. PT (ABC)
• Joshua Kelley, RB, Los Angeles Chargers – Started for the second consecutive week, helping Los Angeles to a 28-24 win over Minnesota. Kelley totaled 12 yards rushing, and caught one pass for five yards.
Week 4: Sunday vs. Las Vegas – 1:05 p.m. PT (CBS)
• Quentin Lake, DB, Los Angeles Rams – Had one tackle in the Rams' Monday night contest against Cincinnati.
Week 4: Sunday at Indianapolis – 10 a.m. PT (FOX)
• Osa Odighizuwa, DT, Dallas Cowboys – Started and made two tackles, including a TFL, in the Cowboys' road game at Arizona.
Week 4: Sunday vs. New England – 1:25 p.m. PT (FOX)
• C Jake Brendel (San Francisco 49ers), C Andrew James (Las Vegas Raiders), S Qwuantrezz Knight (Arizona Cardinals), TE Marcedes Lewis (Chicago Bears), OL Atonio Mafi (New England Patriots), T Kolton Miller (Las Vegas Raiders), CB Fabian Moreau (Denver Broncos), OT Raiqwon O'Neal (Seattle Seahawks), and WR Matthew Slater (New England Patriots) also played, but did not record any statistics.
