LOS ANGELES – UCLA women's golf head coach Alicia Um Holmes announced the Bruins' 2024-2025 schedule Thursday morning. UCLA, coming off a runner-up finish at the NCAA Championships in May, is scheduled to play in five fall tournaments and five spring events, including its first-ever Big Ten Championship.
Fall 2024 Schedule
The Bruins tee off the Fall 2024 season with their return to the ANNIKA Intercollegiate at Royal Golf Club in Lake Elmo, Minn. from Sept. 9-11. UCLA aims to defend its title in its next tournament at the Windy City Collegiate Classic at Westmoreland Country Club in Wilmette, Ill. from Sept. 30-Oct. 1. The Bruins tied a 54-hole program record of 32-under 832 to win last year's event, which marked Um Holmes' first victory as head coach.
UCLA will stay in The Prairie State for its next tournament at the Illini Women's Invitational in Medinah, Ill. on Oct. 7-8. The Bruins' final stroke play tournament of the fall will take place at the highly-competitive Stanford Intercollegiate on Oct. 18-20.
A four-team hybrid competition featuring both stroke play and match play at the East Lake Cup on Oct. 28-30 will close out the Bruins' fall schedule. The East Lake Cup, hosted at historic East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Ga., invites the four top-performing teams from the previous year's NCAA Men's and Women's Golf Championships. The event will air live on Golf Channel.
Spring 2025 Schedule
The Bruins open the Spring 2025 portion of their schedule on Feb. 2-4 at the Therese Hession Regional Challenge, which is a match play-style competition.
UCLA will then host the Bruin Wave Invitational with Pepperdine at Valencia Country Club in Santa Clarita from Feb. 24-25.
After competing at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate in South Carolina March 3-5, the Bruins take on crosstown rival USC in a match play showdown at the third annual Battle for the Bell at Palos Verdes Golf Club on March 17. UCLA has won the previous two renditions of the event.
The Bruins close the regular season at the PING/ASU Invitational at Papago Golf Course in Phoenix, Ariz. from March 28-30.
UCLA's first Big Ten Championship appearance will be hosted at Bulle Rock Golf Club in Havre de Grace, Md. on April 18-20.
