Gameday Information - UCLA vs. Minnesota

The UCLA football team hosts Minnesota at Rose Bowl Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 12 Kickoff for the game is set for 6 p.m. PT. UCLA will be honoring the comprehensive excellence from Bruin female student-athletes and coaches with Saturday evening's themed Women of Westwood contest. Tickets to all UCLA home football games can be purchased online atย uclabruins.com/tickets.

The game will be televised on the Big Ten Network, the UCLA football team's first appearance on the league network since joining the conference ahead of the 2024 campaign. Fans can tune in on the radio on AM 570 and SiriusXM on channels 138 or 195.

Parking lots for UCLA vs. Minnesota will open at 12 p.m. Parking is sold by the City of Pasadena for $38 per car in advance and $43 on game day and can beย purchased here. Fans are strongly encouraged to plan ahead andย pre-purchase parking online for a $5 discount off on-site pricing. RV parking is located on West drive. No overnight RV parking is available.
Gameday parking is also available at the Parsons complex parking lot in Pasadena. Access to the lot is at 100 W. Walnut Street, off Fair Oaks Avenue. The free shuttle runs continuously beginning three hours prior to kickoff until one hour following the conclusion of the game. Parking in the Parsons lot can be purchased on-site on gameday for a maximum of $24.
The Rose Bowl, ranked by ESPN in 2024 as the No. 2 college football stadium, offers one of the best tailgating experiences in college football, with a variety of options for pre-game celebrations, including tailgate parties, food vendors, activities, exhibits, beer gardens and more.

The Area H Fan Zone opens to all fans from 1:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. and is located in Lot H, just outside Gates A and B. The Fan Zone includes a wide variety of exciting gameday experiences, such as tailgating parties, food vendors, activities, exhibits, beer gardens, musical performances and more.

A beloved UCLA Football tradition returns in 2024 with the Bruin Walk. Fans are encouraged to cheer the Bruins on as they arrive at the edge of the Area H Fan Zone on Rosemont Avenue and walk through the Fan Zone into the Rose Bowl Stadium by Gate A. The Bruins are scheduled to arrive at Area H at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday.

Rose Bowl gates open at 4:30 p.m. At the Court of Champions, entertainment options include photo opportunities with the Victory Bell and a joint performance with the UCLA Spirit Squad and Alumni Band (4:30 p.m.). Fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 5:30 p.m.

Honorary captains for Saturday's contest include Donovan Carter, Kris Farris, Johnathan Franklin and Jim McElroy.

Franklin (2009-12) finished his Bruins playing career as the program's all-time leader in rushing (4,403 yards) and all-purpose yardage (4,925). He made 45 starts in the Bruin backfield and ranks second all-time at UCLA with 19 100-yard rushing games. Franklin was named a First Team All-American by CBSSports.com in 2012 after helping the Bruins reach the Pac-12 title game and a Holiday Bowl appearance. He set the school single-season rushing record that season with 1,734 yards. The Dorsey High School product went on to be selected by the Green Bay Packers in the 2013 NFL Draft.

Carter (2010-12) was a consistent force on the Bruins' defensive front in his final two seasons in 2011 and 2012. He played in 42 career games, mostly as a reserve.

Farris (1996-98) was one of the most dominant offensive linemen in UCLA history. The right tackle helped the Bruins to a 10-2 record and an undefeated 8-0 conference mark for the Pac-12 title his senior season in 1998. Farris was named the Outland Trophy Winner and a consensus First Team All-American that season.

McElroy (1994-97), one of the speediest wideout in UCLA history, still owns the program record for yards per reception with 20.09 and ranks in the top 10 for receiving yards with 2,029 (101 receptions). He capped his senior season in 1997 with a Cotton Bowl win over Texas A&M for the final of 10 straight wins as part of the first half of UCLA's memorable 20-game winning streak. That year, McElroy was UCLA's leading pass catcher with 988 yards on 47 receptions. Fans still remember McElroy's remarkable performance in a 48-41 overtime win over USC in 1996 in which he caught eight passes for 149 yards. McElroy's seven 100-yard receiving games are tied for sixth-most in UCLA history.

Halftime entertainment on Saturday will feature a performance from the Solid Gold Sound of the UCLA Bruin Marching Band and a cheer routine by the United Spirit Association. Other in-game celebrations include a Women of Westwood recognition, a performance by the UCLA Dance Team and a runout of the team tunnel by UCLA's women's athletic programs.
