Bruins in the NFL: Week 14

A total of 20 Bruin football alums were in action this past weekend for Week 14 of the 2024 NFL season, with another three on bye.

UCLA alums provided standout performances league-wide. RB Zach Charbonnet (Seattle Seahawks) totaled 193 yards of offense while rushing for a pair of scores, LB Gabriel Murphy (Minnesota Vikings) made his NFL debut, and six different Bruin defenders notched season highs in tackles, including an eight-stop day for DL Kenny Clark (Green Bay Packers).

• Zach Charbonnet, RB, Seattle Seahawks – Had the strongest statistical game yet in his young NFL career, recording career highs in carries (22), rushing yards (134), receptions (7), receiving yards (59), and total offense (193 yards). Charbonnet found the end zone twice on the ground, matching a career high, to help Seattle to a 30-18 win on the road at Arizona. His second TD came on an inside draw that went for 51 yards, a career-long rush.
Week 15: Sunday vs. Green Bay – 5:20 p.m. PT (NBC)
• Kenny Clark, DL, Green Bay Packers – Started and made eight tackles, his most this season and tied for the second-most in a single game in his entire career. The total doubled his previous season-high of four tackles. One of his stops was a one-yard tackle for loss on an attempted goal line stand at the end of the first half.
Week 15: Sunday at Seattle – 5:20 p.m. PT (NBC)
• Darnay Holmes, CB, Las Vegas Raiders – Started and matched a career high with seven tackles. Included in those seven stops was an eight-yard sack, the first solo sack of his five-year NFL career.
Week 15: Monday vs. Atlanta – 5:30 p.m. PT (ESPN)
• Eric Kendricks, LB, Dallas Cowboys – Started and made a team-high 12 tackles for the Cowboys. It was his third straight game, and sixth overall this season, with double-digit tackles. The dozen stops were one off his season high.
Week 15: Sunday at Carolina – 10 a.m. PT (FOX)
• Quentin Lake, S, Los Angeles Rams – Started and made three tackles in a 44-42 win over Buffalo. Added a pass breakup.
Week 15: Thursday at San Francisco – 5:15 p.m. PT (Prime Video)
• Fabian Moreau, CB, Minnesota Vikings – Posted a season-high five tackles in the Vikings' 42-21 win over Atlanta.  
Week 15: Monday vs. Chicago – 5 p.m. PT (ABC)
• Darius Muasau, LB, New York Giants – Started for the third time in his rookie NFL campaign, posting a season-high eight tackles in a defensive battle with the New Orleans Saints. Muasau's eight stops were second-most among all New York players.
Week 15: Sunday vs. Baltimore – 10 a.m. PT (CBS)
• Gabriel Murphy, OLB, Minnesota Vikings – In his NFL debut, played 28 defensive snaps and made one tackle to help the Vikings to a 42-21 win against the Falcons. Murphy had previously spent the majority of the season on Injured Reserve.
Week 15: Monday vs. Chicago – 5 p.m. PT (ABC)
• Osa Odighizuwa, DT, Dallas Cowboys – Started and made three tackles against Cincinnati. Added a team-high three QB hits.   
Week 15: Sunday at Carolina – 10 a.m. PT (FOX)
• Otito Ogbonnia, DL, Los Angeles Chargers – Started and recorded a season-high five tackles in the Chargers' 19-17 loss to Kansas City.
Week 15: Sunday vs. Tampa Bay – 1:25 p.m. PT (FOX)
• OL Alec Anderson (Buffalo Bills), LB Krys Barnes (Arizona Cardinals), WR Jake Bobo (Seattle Seahawks), C Jake Brendel (San Francisco 49ers), TE Greg Dulcich (New York Giants) G Jon Gaines II (Arizona Cardinals), TE Marcedes Lewis (Chicago Bears), OL Kolton Miller (Las Vegas Raiders), OL Sean Rhyan (Green Bay Packers), and FB Carson Steele (Kansas City Chiefs) also played, but did not record any statistics.
• On Bye: Houston Texans (Ka'imi Fairbairn), Indianapolis Colts (Laiatu Latu, Atonio Mafi)
