Big Ten Fall Academic Honor Roll Includes 90 Bruins

LOS ANGELES — This fall, 90 UCLA student-athletes have been named to the Academic All-Big Ten team, the Big Ten Conference announced Thursday. The sports included are field hockey, football, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's soccer and women's volleyball.
To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, students must be on a varsity team (as verified by being on the official squad list as of Nov. 1 for fall sports), have been enrolled full-time at the institution for a minimum of 12 months and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
The UCLA football team had 40 honorees, while women's soccer had 15 and men's soccer had 14. Women's volleyball had 10 honorees, while women's cross country and men's cross country rounded out the list with six and five honorees each.
