Lazar Stefanovic Secures Academic All-District Honors

LOS ANGELES โ UCLA junior Lazar Stefanovic has been named as an NCAA Division I Academic All-District selection, as recognized by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) this week.

Stefanovic played in all 33 games for the UCLA men's basketball team in 2023-24, averaging 11.5 points and a team-leading 6.1 rebounds per game. A sociology major in his third year in college, Stefanovic is one of 12 players from the Pac-12 Conference to have been named to the Academic All-District Team. He spent his first two years of college at the University of Utah, prior to transferring to UCLA last summer.

Undergraduate student-athletes must have compiled at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (4.0 scale) and must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, in order to qualify for the award.

The Academic All-District honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First, second, and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on April 17, 2024.
