Big Ten Network Original Programming for UCLA to Debut Aug. 2

Big Ten Network (BTN) will debut new original programming dedicated to each of its four new member schools โ UCLA, USC, Oregon and Washington.

Original programming for UCLA on BTN begins on Friday, Aug. 2 at 10 a.m. PT, with "The B1G Welcome: UCLA", which features interviews with head coaches DeShaun Foster, Mick Cronin, Cori Close and Janelle McDonald and a tour of the Hall of Fame with Mike Warren.

Following "The B1G Welcome: UCLA" are two original programs featuring UCLA basketball legends. At 10:30 a.m. PT is the debut of "The B1G Moment: Tyus Edney", which looks back at the Bruin guard's buzzer-beating game-winning shot with 4.8 seconds remaining in the 1995 NCAA Tournament. At 11 a.m. PT is "B1G Trailblazers: Ann Meyers Drysdale", an in-depth interview with the Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer. "Campus Eats โ West Coastin'" premieres at 9 p.m. PT, with women's volleyball alumna and beach volleyball Olympian Holly McPeak visiting Perry's Café and Beach Rentals in Santa Monica.ย

Additionally, a special one-hour edition of "B1G Today" debuts at 9 a.m. PT, hosted by Dave Revsine, Rick Pizzo and Jake Butt, as they discuss the four new programs joining the Big Ten. The episode will re-air at 2 p.m. PT and again at 9:30 p.m. PT.
