Stephanie London Krogius Hired as Chief Development Officer

UCLA Athletics has hired Stephanie London Krogius as its Executive Senior Associate Athletic Director/Chief Development Officer. She will oversee UCLA Athletics' fundraising efforts and serve on the executive team of UCLA's Alice and Nahum Lainer Family Director of Athletics Martin Jarmond.

In her new role at UCLA, London Krogius will lead the athletic department's development team, with an emphasis on fundraising and managing principal and major gifts.

London Krogius brings to UCLA over a decade of senior executive experience in both the private sector and in athletics. She most recently served as the Working Executive Director of Philanthropy at Providence Mission Hospital, where she led a $400M comprehensive fundraising campaign in support of a $750M expansion plan. As the Senior Director of Principal and Major Gifts, she led a fundraising team to its highest performing year in the Providence Mission Hospital's history.

For nearly 10 years, London Krogius led fundraising efforts at USA Water Polo. After beginning as the Director of Advancement in 2012, she was promoted to Chief Advancement Officer in 2015 and Chief Revenue Officer in 2017. She oversaw all revenue-generating departments at USA Water Polo, including membership, development and corporate partnerships, helping the organization realize revenue growth of 47% over a four-year period from 2017 to 2020.

London Krogius graduated from USC in 1991 with a degree in communications. She was a three-time All-American on the tennis team and went on to play professionally on the Women's Tennis Association tour. She also served as head women's tennis coach at the University of Arizona for two seasons and was the Director of Marketing at UC Irvine Athletics from 2005-09. She is married to Lars "Tony" Krogius, who graduated from UCLA in 1979. The couple has two children, Michelle and Tristan.
