Gameday Information - UCLA vs. Oregon

The UCLA football team returns home to host No. 8 Oregon at Rose Bowl Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 28. Kickoff for the game is set for 8 p.m. PT. UCLA will be celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month Saturday night as part of its Los Bruins Game. Tickets to all UCLA home football games can be purchased online atย uclabruins.com/tickets. The Los Bruins themed ticket package includes an exclusive game ticket and Los Bruins t-shirt.

The game will be televised on FOX. Fans can tune in on the radio on AM1150.

Parking lots for UCLA vs. Oregon will open at 2 p.m. Parking is sold by the City of Pasadena for $38 per car in advance and $43 on game day and can beย purchased here. Fans are strongly encouraged to plan ahead andย pre-purchase parking online for a $5 discount off on-site pricing. RV parking is located on West drive. No overnight RV parking is available.
Gameday parking is also available at the Parsons complex parking lot in Pasadena. Access to the lot is at 100 W. Walnut Street, off Fair Oaks Avenue. The free shuttle runs continuously beginning three hours prior to kickoff until one hour following the conclusion of the game. Parking in the Parsons lot can be purchased on-site on gameday for a maximum of $24.
The Rose Bowl, ranked by ESPN in 2024 as the No. 2 college football stadium, offers one of the best tailgating experiences in college football, with a variety of options for pre-game celebrations, including tailgate parties, food vendors, activities, exhibits, beer gardens and more.

The Area H Fan Zone opens to all fans from 3:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. and is located in Lot H, just outside Gates A and B. The Fan Zone includes a wide variety of exciting gameday experiences, such as tailgating parties, food vendors, activities, exhibits, beer gardens, musical performances and more.

A beloved UCLA Football tradition returns in 2024 with the Bruin Walk. Fans are encouraged to cheer the Bruins on as they arrive at the edge of the Area H Fan Zone on Rosemont Avenue and walk through the Fan Zone into the Rose Bowl Stadium by Gate A. The Bruins are scheduled to arrive at Area H at 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Rose Bowl gates open at 6:30 p.m. At the Court of Champions, entertainment options include photo opportunities with the Victory Bell (6:30 p.m.) and the Alumni Band performance (7:15 p.m.). Fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 7:30 p.m.

Honorary captains for the game are Jayon Brown, Cade McNown, Carl Peterson and Alterraun Verner.

Brown, a linebacker for the Bruins from 2013-16, was an All-Pac-12 First Team selection in his final year in Westwood. The Long Beach product ranked top 15 in the nation in both solo tackles per game (11th, 5.8) and total tackles per game (9th, 9.9) and led the Pac-12 in both categories.

McNown was a four-year starter (1995-98) at quarterback for the Bruins, who shared Pac-10 championships in his final two seasons. UCLA won 20 consecutive games across those campaigns and McNown was lauded for his role, earning consensus first-team All-America acclaim while collecting the Pac-10 Offensive Player of the Year and Johnny Unitas Golden Arm awards and finishing third in Heisman Trophy voting, in 1998. The West Linn, Ore. native departed as the program's all-time leader in passing yards (11,285) and has since been inducted into the UCLA Athletic Hall of Fame (2009), the Rose Bowl Hall of Fame (2017) and the College Football Hall of Fame (2020).

Peterson was an assistant coach under former UCLA head coaches Pepper Rodgers and Dick Vermeil from 1973-76. He was on staff for UCLA's Rose Bowl victory over Woody Hayes' No. 1-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes in 1976. He later enjoyed 20 years as president, general manager and chief executive officer of the Kansas City Chiefs (1989-2008).

Verner was one of the most talented defensive backs in UCLA history from 2006-09. He ended his UCLA career ranked first in pick-sixes (4), defensive touchdowns (5) and interception return yards (357) and seventh in interceptions (13). Verner was named a first-team All-American in 2009 before enjoying a successful career in the NFL, headlined by a 2013 All-Pro selection.

Halftime entertainment on Saturday will feature a performance from the Solid Gold Sound of the UCLA Bruin Marching Band. Other in-game celebrations include the Paul Cameron College Football Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and performances by Mariachi De Uclatlán and UCLA Dance Team.

Fans can enjoy a number of giveaways this game, including a 2024 Season Ticket Member Pin (pickup inside Gate A with digital voucher), and a Wooden Athletic Fund Member Bobblehead (pickup near Tunnel 28 with digital voucher).
