Eighteen former Bruin football standouts saw action in Week 5 of the 2025 NFL Season. Los Angeles Rams safety Quentin Lake (11 tackles) and Cleveland Browns linebacker Carson Schwesinger (12 tackles) led the way with highlight-reel defensive performances, as the duo either set or matched their career highs for single-game tackles.
 
• Krys Barnes, LB, Carolina Panthers – Making his 2025 and Carolina debut, the sixth-year pro made a pair of tackles on special teams to help the Panthers eke out a 27-24 win over Miami.

• Zach Charbonnet, RB, Seattle Seahawks – Rushed nine times for 36 yards and a touchdown. Added one catch for 12 yards. Charbonnet scored from 5 yards out early in the third quarter to give Seattle a 14-13 lead over Tampa Bay.
Week 6: Sunday at Jacksonville – 10 a.m. PT (FOX)
 
• Kenny Clark, DT, Dallas Cowboys – Clark started and made two tackles, including a half-sack that went for seven yards, to help Dallas to a 37-22 road win over the New York Jets.

• Kai'imi Fairbairn, K, Houston Texas – Fairbairn connected on all three of field goal attempts – from 50, 57, and 34 yards out – and was a perfect 5-for-5 on PAT attempts as Houston routed Baltimore, 44-10, on Sunday. Fairbairn improved to 11-for-13 on field goal tries this year. It was the ninth time in his career, and second time this season, that he nailed multiple 50+ yard field goals in a single game.

• Darnay Holmes, CB, Las Vegas Raiders – Holmes made one tackle in Las Vegas' 40-6 setback to Indianapolis.
Week 6: Sunday vs. Tennessee – 1:05 p.m. PT (FOX)
 
• Quentin Lake, S, Los Angeles Rams – Started and matched a career high with 11 combined tackles (7-4-11), marking his fifth-career double-digit-tackle performance. He added a pass breakup as the Rams dropped an overtime heartbreaker to San Francisco.

• Laiatu Latu, DE, Indianapolis Colts – The edge rusher had a tackle for loss and also notched his second interception of the year, helping the Colts to a 40-6 win over Las Vegas.

• Darius Muasau, LB, New York Giants – Started and made nine tackles and 26-14 loss to New Orleans. The nine stops were one off the team lead, and marked the second-highest single-game total for the second-year pro.

• Osa Odighizuwa, DT, Dallas Cowboys – Recorded two tackles, including a career-long 14-yard sack, to help Dallas to a road win over the New York Jets.

• Oluwafemi Oladejo, OLB, Tennessee Titans – Oladejo started at edge and made a pair of tackles as the Titans secured a 22-21 road victory over Arizona.

• Carson Schwesinger, LB, Cleveland Browns – Schwesinger started and led all players with 12 tackles (2-10-12), setting an NFL career-high in the process. The rookie played a team-high 75 snaps, including every defensive play the entire game.

• Colson Yankoff, TE, Washington Commanders – Yankoff made one tackle on special teams as the Commanders notched a 27-10 road win at the Chargers on Sunday.

• OL Alec Anderson (Buffalo Bills), WR Jake Bobo (Seattle Seahawks), OL Jake Brendel (San Francisco 49ers), OL Jon Gaines II (Arizona Cardinals), C Andre James (Los Angeles Chargers), and DL Otito Ogbonnia (Los Angeles Chargers) also played, but did not record any statistics.
