Bruins in the NFL: Week 7

A total of 16 former Bruin standouts were in action during Week 7 of the NFL's regular season. Particularly notable performances came from RB Zach Charbonnet (Seattle Seahawks), who had a pair of touchdowns in a Monday Night Football triumph, and S Quentin Lake (Los Angeles Rams), who lit up the scoresheet in an international showdown at London's Wembley Stadium.
โขย Zach Charbonnet, RB, Seattle Seahawks โ Rushed for 49 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries, leading the Seahawks to a 27-19 win at home over Houston on Monday Night Football. It marked the third-career game for Charbonnet with multiple rushing touchdowns, and pushed his total for the year to five rushing scores. His 49 rushing yards were also a season high. Charbonnet added two catches for six yards.

โขย Ka'imi Fairbairn, K, Houston Texans โ Connected on both of his field goal attempts, from 36 and 46 yards out. He also was good on his lone extra point attempt. For the season, Fairbairn improved to 13-for-15 on field goals and 10-10 on extra points.

โขย Darnay Holmes, CB, Las Vegas Raiders โ Made one tackle in a loss to Kansas City. Played 22 snaps on defense and three snaps on special teams.

Week 8: Sunday at Baltimore โ 10 a.m. PT (CBS)
โขย Quentin Lake, S, Los Angeles Rams โ Lake did a little bit of everything in a 35-7 rout of Jacksonville, starting and posting six tackles (4-2-6), forcing a fumble, recording a 13-yard sack, and breaking up a pair of passes. The contest took place in London at Wembley Stadium.

โขย Darius Muasau, LB, New York Giants โ Started and totaled six tackles in a 33-32 heartbreaking loss to Denver. Played 73 snaps (90%) on defense, and 11 snaps on special teams. ย ย

โขย Osa Odighizuwa, DT, Dallas Cowboys โ Started and made one tackle in a 44-22 win over Washington.
Week 8: Sunday at Denver โ 1:25 p.m. PT (CBS)
โขย Carson Schwesinger, LB, Cleveland Browns โ Started and made a team-high seven tackles in a decisive 31-6 home win over Miami. Schwesinger and the Cleveland defense held the Dolphins without a touchdown, as the visitors' only points came on a pair of field goals. One of his stops went for a 3-yard loss. In addition, played nine special teams snaps.
