Key Lawrence Named Lott IMPACT Trophy Player of the Week

The Lott IMPACT® Trophy presented by Allied Universal® on Wednesday announced that UCLA redshirt senior safety Key Lawrence has been named its Player of the Week for Week 6 of the 2025 season.
Lawrence posted a team-high eight tackles, including one tackle for loss, and forced a fumble to help the Bruins to a 42-37 win over No. 7 Penn State on Saturday afternoon at the Rose Bowl.
Lawrence's eight stops were one off his career high, and it marked the first time this season that he paced the Bruins in tackling. The forced fumble was his second of the season and eighth of his career.
With the recognition from the Lott IMPACT Trophy, Lawrence becomes the latest Bruin to pick up national honors following UCLA's victory over the Nittany Lions. Quarterback Nico Iamaleava was selected as the Associated Press National Player of the Week, Maxwell Award Player of the Week, Davey O'Brien Quarterback of the Week and Walter Camp National FBS Offensive Player of the Week. Interim head coach Tim Skipper was named the National Coach of the Week by both the Dodd Trophy and Bear Bryant Awards.
As a group, UCLA was named the Pop-Tarts Crazy Good Team of the Week.
UCLA returns to action this Saturday, traveling east to face Michigan State in a 9 a.m. PT battle on the Big Ten Network.
