LOS ANGELES -- UCLA sophomore attacker Ryder Dodd (Long Beach, Calif./JSerra Catholic HS) has been named the MPSF West/Delfina Player of the Week as announced by the league office today.

Dodd led UCLA to a 1-0 record this past week (22-1 overall, 5-1 MPSF West) with a 14-13 come-from-behind win at No. 1 USC (Nov. 15).

He scored four goals, all in the second half, in the win over the Trojans, which secured the top seed for the Bruins in the MPSF Championship Tournament. He also won both of his sprints and provided the game-winning goal (4Q-1:09) and game-securing field block on a 7-on-6 play at the buzzer.

He has scored in all 50 games he has played in his career and has scored multiple goals in 48 of those contests.
